2005-11-27 - 9:46 a.m. It kind of shakes you up when you have to reevaluate how you view a person. I learned some things over the Thanksgiving weekend. My grandfather, the guy I thought was one of the greatest men to live, abused my mother. He had drinking problems. I also found out some not so bad stuff. My dad, apparently, was a player when he was my age. He dated my mom and another woman at the same time, without either one of them knowing. He stopped it only after selling his bicycle to continue funding dating them. He realized it was way too expensive. My mom told me this, then said, "I won, haha!" I start my second job on Wednesday. We'll see how that goes. Now I must shower and go to my first job. previous - next
