10-2-04 - 11:55 p.m. i sold two cars today. so far, for the month, i'm only .5 behind the top salesman. i, thusly, kick ass. but really, here's the important thing. it felt cold today. tonight, really. standing there, in the empty parking lot, clouds covering the moon, i started to shiver, a little. it's starting to feel like fall. it's starting to make me think i need a jacket. and this, this is the time of year i love. that little buffer between summer and fall, where the days are warm, but those mornings and nights, where the sun is below the horizon, or just sitting there, semicircled above it, turning the sky any color but blue, that time where you want a long sleeved something to cover up your arms and elbows. it's great. also: this is a reason why i love amy. i want to see that puppet movie whose name escapes me. she sees me watching the preview and says "you want to see that, don't you?" and i say "well, yeah. when's the last time you saw a puppet movie?" and she says "when's the last time I WANTED to see a puppet movie?" sleep time for little crayon and little crayon money makers. previous - next
