it started snowing around 5 tonight.

people came into work, commenting on it.

this isn't my normal place of work. it's this nonpaying type job, you get what im tossing down?

i couldn't see it, couldn't tell how bad it was.

i got off at 630, started walking the half or so mile to my car.

it was great.

one of the greatest, most beautiful sights is looking up into a streetlight, or any light for that matter, and watching the snow fall down.

the way it twirls in and out of the light.

ah, great stuff.

i came back to my apartment, the roommate woke up, didnt know it was snowing.

we went out for groceries.

the snow had fallen, by then, to be just thick enough to cover up the lines in the road.

in the parking lot, it was one big white plane. the wind would kick up and the ghosts of snow would gather into angry little ghosts clouds and go flying across the parking lot.

ah it was great.

i have hot chocolate now.

i was telling the roommate about seeing the shooting star last night. i said "yeah, it was either that, or some trash burning up as it fell through the atmosphere."

which made us go off into a five minute ramble about burning stuff in the atmosphere. sadly, you had to be there. and you weren't.

but if you were, trust me. you would've been all over me. i'm pretty damn hot, if you've forgotten, which i'm sure you haven't.

now i must go back to my hot chocolate.

quick personal side note to hanspragoo, seeing as how i cant contact you any other way:

i'm incredibly flattered with what you've said. i'd like to email you or some such, something a little less... public, you see?

and im a fan of jack johnson, too.
