i was at work. i heard the phone ring. i picked it up because, yo, that's part of my job.

i talked to someone who told me that the place where i worked's website was linking to a gay porn site.

she was talking to me as if i could possibly fix this.

instead i was just chuckling.

"i just thought i should let you know."

long pause.

"heh.... uh.... thanks!"

cause youve gotta be all peppy to keep their business, you know.

and then the woman on the line with me started cracking up.

we were just giggling back and forth.

oh me oh my you had to be there. and know where i work. but you werent and dont so its just funny to me and her.

did i do a good deed today...

i washed my dishes after i used them. opened doors for others. offered to pay for a ticket. gave someone a tip when they didnt really ask for one (ie they just kept my money.)

but i didnt do anything life changing.

alas.

martine called my desk trashy. i called her a bitch.

ok, so i didnt. i just got off my ass and cleaned up my desk.

she laughed at me.

she makes me smile. and laugh. and forget that i dont want to be outside.

and now i sleep.
