Colorado was amazing. Like... okay:

Tennessee is your wife, one you love dearly, one who knows how to rub your neck to keep the migraine away, one who knows that spot on your hip that makes you growl. She is beautiful and everything you thought you'd want.

Then you go away, to a conference for work, and there's this other woman. Beautiful in a completely different way than your wife. This woman that holds your attention during the boring panels on continuous quality improvement. The woman who makes you laugh hard at jokes your wife would never tell, who cusses like a sailor and then, at the formal dinner held on the next to last night, comes in wearing a black dress that punches you in the chest.

It makes you wonder what if... what if you had found her earlier, what if you weren't connected...

Pretty much, Colorado is amazing. It's beautiful in ways that are different than Tennessee. It's the Mountains and the snow and the creeks and rivers that are EVERYWHERE and bike paths and bears. I already want to go back.

There's so much we could have done, but didn't. So much that we need to do. I want to pay off all my debts, build up some money, then move out there. Drive around, park, and just disappear into the woods. Kayak, raft, bike.

I'm working on photos.
