2005-10-30 - 9:09 p.m. I have discovered a new, untapped talent in myself. It's crazy that I went this long without really realizing how truly, amazingly gifted I am. I carved a pumpkin. Not only that, but I carved a pug (the dog breed) into the pumpkin. I know. What's scarier than a pug? NOTHING. Except maybe a million other things. But I didn't carve for scariness. I carved for love. And my love, oh my love will shine and glow from within this pumpkin. Because I carved a crazy beautiful exact pug. It's just flat out amazing. To be modest. If I can find the digital camera I'll take a picture of it and post it. It should be a new career for me. Pumpkin carver. I'll do weddings. previous - next
