i had mashed potatoes and milk earlier.

it was an utterly delightful combination.

i went to the roof of my work today. it's maybe forty feet off the ground, give or take, i'm horrible with estimation.

i went up there to throw a bouncy ball off, just to see what would happen.

the high school i went to was four stories tall. it also had a basement. where my friends and i ate lunch was a stairwell that ran from the first floor to the fourth floor.

one day i got an apple, went to the fourth floor, tossed it down the middle of the stair well, just to see how it would splatter. if it would splatter.

and man, it was beautiful.

watching the apple in free fall, spinning slightly. beautiful.

i promptly cleaned the mess up.

on the roof, today, i tossed the ball over.

it was slightly disappointing, seeing as how i was almost dead from the cold.

i think i would have appreciated it more if i was watching it from the ground.

i also plan on, soon:

standing in an empty parking lot next to a cliff and having a friend drive on the road on the cliff and throw a frisbee out the car window so i can see what happens.

and i plan on flying a kite off the roof of my work's building, too.

i almost got into a high speed car chase this afternoon. my friend has been stalked by her exboyfriend, and he happened to be around. we saw him, while in my car, and i turned around to make sure it was him. he took off, and i followed him a ways. he was headed toward the interstate, and i figured as long as he got on it, it was good. so i let him go.

man, you would think my life was filled with all sorts of excitement and experiments!

but it isnt. alas.

however, one summer i did spend a good amount of time experimenting with grapes. boiled grapes dont taste too good.
